Technical Support Specialist - 1st level

We are looking for a local first level IT support technician. You will be part of the EMEA IT support team and provide 1^st level support to all users for the Ostrava/Prague office locally and the entire region remotely. 

The main responsibilities for the role:

• Provide technical support for users in the EMEA region, their client computers running Windows and the local technical infrastructure
• Set up new client computers or reinstall for further use
• Provide IT related introduction training for new hires
• Liaise with IT operation colleagues in order to resolve local issues, resolve tickets assigned within the IT helpdesk ticket system and escalate tickets as appropriate
• Test and support implementation of new IT technologies

Further duties will include:

• Report to the regional IT management about your activities
• Take over other IT related duties as business requires it
• Follow and enforce IT policies
• Documentation

You may impress if you have experience with:

• Customer facing or service position
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of client hardware, operating systems (Windows) and applications
• Network topologies, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Fluent English

You should be able to handle technically:

• OS Windows 10/11
• MS Office Suite
• HW systems support
• Cloud computing (Office 365)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Apple products
• Vendor management
