INNOVATE, a leading Software as a Service consortium based in London is looking for talented Senior Python Developers to join our Prague team. Our development teams  focus on creating ingenious solutions to modern problems by creating ultra high end software and apps.

Working on both large team projects and smaller individual projects that fit together to create a Global e-Commerce & Messaging platform plus ongoing support and additions as and when required.

Summary of Role: You will be expected to write server-side web applications as a Web Developer and also develop various back-end components to connect the web application to web services. You will also debug the project using the necessary tools and lead a team of junior developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Write effective, scalable code
  • Modify the existing functionality of the backend and RESTful API
  • Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
  • Integrate user-facing elements into applications
  • Test and debug programs
  • Improve functionality of existing systems
  • Implement security and data protection solutions
  • Take charge of the development of High-load communication chat with video calls and third-party integrations
  • Assess and prioritize feature requests
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Mentoring junior staff

What we need:

  • 5+ years of Python development experience
  • A relevant degree or equivalent, although experience would count as well
  • Understanding and using: iterators, generators, streams
  • Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, non-blocking calls
  • Knowledge of regular expressions, data structures (JSON and XML)
  • Experience with various databases (Mysql, Postgres, ElasticSearch, etc.)
  • Understanding and Using SOLID Principles
  • Experience with message brokers and queues
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests
  • An intermediate level of English
  • Enthusiastic, and capable of turning around tasks quickly and efficiently
